Ebonee (E.N.) Haprn

Ebonee (E.N.) Haprn is a senior attorney for McGovern Law with a focus in corporate transactions and intellectual property, primarily in the music and entertainment industry. 

E.N.’s practice centers around global mergers and acquisitions, financing arrangements and a variety of standard and bespoke agreements for clients in all areas of entertainment and beyond, including music, television and film, literary, gaming, podcasts and new and digital media services. E.N. counsels company and individual entertainment clients, and has drafted and negotiated agreements on their behalf, in connection with a variety of matters including marketing and advertising, sponsorships and endorsements, publishing, production, and talent services arrangements. 

E.N. also serves as outside general counsel and has advised clients in all aspects of their business, including entity formation, corporate governance, enterprise agreements, creating form agreements and policy documents, and other transactional matters.

E.N.’s prior experience includes working for major global law firms while based in New York, Arizona, and California, as well as serving as Corporate Counsel at Warner Music Group, with a practice focused on the acquisition of music and film catalogs, record labels, and music and new media companies, along with strategic investments in and collaborations with music and entertainment focused start-ups and emerging companies, including those in the gaming and AR/VR spaces, and enterprise and bespoke technology and vendor agreements.

Outside of working, E.N. enjoys spending time with family, giving back to the local community, hiking, reading, and exploring new music.
